Love these dialogues!
These dialogues are a great length. I’d like to be able to have access to more of them not just as a reward for completing a unit. Keep up the amazing work.
Thanks for your support, Warren! I’m very glad to hear you like these shorter dialogues, because we’re about to launch a huge initiative in this direction. Keep an eye on this section: http://www.practiceportuguese.com/shorties/ For now, that link just contains all of these shorter Learning Studio dialogues without needing to unlock them first.
In England, addressing somebody as “Young lady” would be seen as being slightly rude or as an admonishment. I take it that it is perfectly acceptable in Portugal?
Yes, it’s very common to for older adults to say “jovem”, “menina”, “rapaz”, etc. It doesn’t have the negative connotation of “young lady” in English.
I really appreciate the auto-scroll you have provided.
Would it be possible to have an audio on the quiz questions and answers? Just to get the pronounciation right. Thank you.
Hi Georges, this is definitely something that is on our list for future features. Thanks for your feedback!
Hello, any chance to have the feature that Georges asked about? Would be helpful. Thanks!
If you click the “eng” button, it will open the phrase in the Translator pop-up, and from there you can play audio. 🙂
Oh, thanks! I always try to understand the sentences in the quiz on my own and haven’t used the “eng” button. Now I’ll use it 🙂
