50 Sombras da Avó Odete

50 Shades of Grandma Odete

Avó Odete has been healthy and safe from COVID-19, although she’s not too impressed with having to be regularly tested, (as you’ll see in the video). She’s also been catching up with some reading, although it’s perhaps not exactly what you’d expect!

Warning: This video contains explicit language, so please skip it if you’re younger or sensitive to sex talk or cursing. Near the end, we’ve added an additional warning right before the discussion goes beyond suggestive into more explicit. Basically, Avó Odete’s book has taught her some colourful new words, and now it’s up to you to decide whether you want to hear about them or not!

    • By far the funniest video I’ve seen in a long time. Had to put the translation on for most of it but Rui, I absolutely love your Grandma she has the most infectious and dirtiest 😉 laugh ever you’re very lucky to have her.

    • I laughed, I cried and I laughed…. So wonderful to see you and the beautiful, healthy relationship you two have. I had to watch it a few times and turned on the translation because it was hard to understand and read, but I LOVED IT. You are so fortunate to have such an awesome Vo!!! Please keep us posted on Avo Odette! I adore her. I am a fan!

    • Meu deus do ceu! Gostei imenso. Fico contente ver a simpatiquisima Odete e saber que ela está em boa saude.. Ela é maravilhosa e tão engraçada. Eu ri e chorei! Vou assistir o video uma outra vez porque não entendi tudo. Um abraço e boas ferias!

    • That was maravilhoso! So many good expressions and vocabulary words to learn. They’ll make me sound like a badass in Portuguese. 😉
I can’t wait for this “conavirus” to be gone and we can all go on ferias again. I’m so looking forward to visiting Portugal again!!

    • Now at the end avo says t: Está bom? E after Joel says: Está bem! as an answer…… ehhhhh …..Avo refers to the good situation? And Joel to the good conversation?

      • Olá, Jan. They’re both simply expressing agreement, saying “Ok, all right”. “Está bom/Está bem” are often used interchangeably, as I mentioned in another comment.

    • Hahahahahhahahah.sou chinês mas percebi todo o que avó disse!tão interessante!hoje aprendi muito palavra!adoro avó!mando a beijinho!
