Please could you explain the “é” in “Vocês são é forretas”
Thank you,
Debbie
Olá, Debbie. The extra “é” is just there for emphasis 🙂 It’s like saying, “What you are is cheapskates!”
Thank you!
I’ve read that Multibanco is a specific network of banks in Portugal. In this episode, the word multibanco appears to mean an ATM card. Does multibanco in general mean a generic ATM card for any bank, or only for the particular chain of banks signified by Multibanco?
While Multibanco refers to a specific brand, we do use it a lot as a general term for ATM 🙂
