    • No difference other than the gender 🙂 Both ‘má’ and ‘mau’ mean ‘bad’, but the former is feminine and the latter is masculine. The choice between one and the other depends on the gender of the noun these adjectives are qualifying.

    • Good catch. Could be that he didn’t have enough savings for the 3 months’ rent (or more!) often paid in advance… or just a slip-up in the story 🙂

  • Olá, tem alguma duvída sobre este áudio.
Não percebo “Também têm uma segunda casa de banho no corredor.” isso significa que o apartamento não tem casa de banho ou o apartamento tem uma e outra casa de banho fica no corredor?

    • Significa que o apartamento tem duas casas de banho. Uma casa de banho está dentro do quarto (é uma suite) e a outra casa de banho está no corredor.

  • What does “último andar” refer to in Unit 5? “Last floor” is not a term I have ever heard used in English. Could be top or bottom floor depending on where you start counting?

    • “Último andar” typically refers to the top floor or highest level of a building. In English, it would be equivalent to saying “top floor” rather than “last floor”, of course. The term assumes that you start counting from the ground floor upwards. 🙂
