  • Very interesting shortie for me as I have actually been to the top. It was in high summer though and when we left Castelo Branco it was plus 41c so the plus 23c at the vodafone Resort was very refreshing.
    I think a better translation for ‘ tempreatures reach negative 20c ‘ might be ‘ temperatures fall to minus 20c ‘. This is the way we would say it in england. Perhaps different in USA.
    Also the statement ‘ almost nobody lives anymore ‘ would sound better as ‘ almost nobody lives there anymore’.
    I hope you don’t mind me pointing this out.

  • Para mim, a terceira atracção da Serra da Estrella são as chanfanas. Fomos uma vez para Manteigas só para a experimentar e não ficamos disapontados.
