Joel, you give courage to your listeners. How many of us are saying, “He’s not afraid to speak–why should I be?” As I’ve devoured lots of the content on the site (pre-membership) I have been so impressed with how your Portuguese is becoming more and more refined. With all of your help, I’ll hope the same for me.
That’s so nice of you to say, Denise! (Great to finally have you on board as a member yesterday too!) Can you believe I’m still terrified whenever we we record new content? But that’s what gets me through it – knowing that it helps people related to the content a bit more, since as learners of Portuguese, we all share many of the same struggles that a native Portuguese speaker might not even consider. So in other words, I constantly make a dork of myself for the greater good! ;)
