What would be the right way to think about the phrase ‘mesmo agora’ ? My understanding is that ‘acabar de ter’ means “just had/did X” so what role does ‘mesmo agora’ play? Thanks in advance!
“Mesmo agora” means “right now”. While arguably redundant, it’s common to use it in combination with “acabar de” for emphasis, as was the case here 🙂

O infinitivo é premir (to press)! “Prima” é uma conjugação do presente do conjuntivo, na 3a pessoa do singular.
I just listened to this shortie and was wondering why isnt it “prema” for the 3rd person subjunctive of premir?
“Prema” is part of the conjugations for another verb that has fallen out of use, “premer”. “Premer” and “premir” are synonyms, but only the latter is still commonly used.
