Comments

  • Hi, Just a quick message to say thank you for posting such a charmingly told story. I didn’t think we were going to like it! I thought it would be too “slushy”! But it turned out to be a joy to listen to. Well done whoever wrote it and thank you too to Pedro for reading it so sensitively.

  • Agreed this is a very thoughtful and poetic text. Well done!

So many useful nuggets. The standout phrase for me is “finta-me com o olhar.” “She stares at me”.

What’s not to love about the elision on the tail end of that phrase:-)

  • Same as the other comments, thought this would be too cringy, but loved the way you incorporated so many great verbs and phrases

  • Thank you Practice Portuguese for making such high quality contents. They are really informative as well as attractive to listen to.

  • Where would I find the chapter that explains the use of finite-me and other verb endings like -se and -te?
    Thanks
