I think the word desinfetar should be in form desinfete. Maybe?
It’s great that you commented on that, because it’s a very tricky line!
The line “desinfeta o dedo mais tarde” is actually correct as it is, because it’s not in the imperative, but in the indicative mood. You wouldn’t know this just by looking because 1) the sentence is “incomplete” (the subject is omitted), and 2) she is using the present tense as if it were the future tense (this is very common in Portuguese). The full standard sentence would be “O vizinho desinfetará o dedo mais tarde” (You [formal] will disinfect the finger later). But instead, it was shortened to “
O vizinhodesinfetaráo dedo mais tarde” > “Desinfeta o dedo mais tarde.” This is not a direct order, but a statement.
