While “cor” is feminine why isn’t “…e a que combina com a quê.” ?
Good question. The second clause “…o que combina com o quê” is not referring back to the noun ‘cores’. It’s actually abstract and simply saying “…what [o que] goes with what”. This is why there is no gender agreement with ‘cores’.
