Dear team Rui e Joel,
To study efficiently it would be better to add “de” to: faz lembrar : this way you can study: faz lembrar de – it reminds one of.
Adding the preposition to the verb in the vocabulary list, would be very helpful.
Could you consider this please ?
Kind regards,
O Patinho
Olá! The preposition ‘de’ is added when the verb is used reflexively. For example:
– Eu lembro-me de ti (I remember you)
Since that’s not the case in this context, the preposition was left out.
Hi Joseph,
Many thanks for explaining. Without the ‘de’ it sounded unnatural, but now I understand why.
Regarding my question, I would like to make a general remark: sometimes when you transport one or two words from the text to the vocabulary list: it would be helpful to have a bit of context. eg faz lembrar and extra between brackets faz lembrar uma bela coroa.(or behind the extra info sign) This way it is very clear in the translation to English that there is gramatically a different approach.
O Patinho
Hi Joseph,
I must have been dreaming: there wasn’t even a preposition “de” in the text. I am sorry for this confusion.
Kind regards,
O Patinho
