In the first sentence, does not achar in the negative require the following verb to be in the subjunctive?
Olá, Peter. The sentence is negative, but formulated as a question, in which case it only accepts the indicative mood. But for example, if Carolina had answered using the same words, her answer would require the subjunctive. In this case, the subjunctive would actually fall on the auxiliary verb:
– Gonçalo: Não achas que abusaste…?
– Carolina: Eu não acho que tenha abusado…
