    Não deveria ser “Se estiveres com medo, não vale a pena VIERES comigo” en vez de “Se estiveres com medo, não vale a pena VIRES comigo”?

    • Olá! “Vires”, no infinitivo pessoal, está correto. “Vieres” é uma forma do futuro do conjuntivo, mas esse tempo verbal não é indicado naquela porção da frase, mas sim na anterior – é o tempo verbal usado em “se estiveres”. Por regra, neste tipo de frases, o modo conjuntivo é apenas aplicado às orações subordinadas (dependent clauses). A oração subordinada aqui é “Se estiveres com medo”.

    At 01:11 I’m uncertain if it’s personal infinitive all through or one is conjuntivo. I’ve learned not to use conjuntivo in questions, is that right?

    • Olá! All of it is in the personal infinitive, indeed. The subjunctive can be used in some types of questions, actually. This is one example: “E se fizeres isto?” (What if you do this?) So, the really hypothetical kind of question, basically. Otherwise, it is true that we wouldn’t use the subjunctive in general questions.

    • Olá! “P’raí” is a contraction of “para” and “aí”. “Para aí”, in this context, just helps reinforce that it’s an estimate, like “approximately” 🙂
