  • Tive muitas aulas de língua na minha vida mas nunca li uma como esta. Um enredo tão hilário. Os meus parabéns!
Aliás, nestes dias admiro a produtividade de Practice Portuguese. Faz-me pensar num escritor holandês do século passado de quem se dizia que ele escrevia mais rápido do que Deus consequia ler.
Muito obrigado pelo esforço. Aproveito cada dia.

  • Good session! Thank you. I appreciate that you make fun of people who only complain, while they are themselves the culprit! Being humorous helps a lot to realise the truth. Keep up the good work!

  • “…Tem Cem Anos de Perdão” sounds quite odd to me. Is this a Portuguese idiom and if so, is there an English near-equivalent expression to help me understand what it is trying to say? Thank you!

    • Indeed, “Ladrão que rouba ladrão tem cem anos de perdão” is a Portuguese idiom. It translates to “A thief who steals from another thief has a hundred years of forgiveness” and is used to say that someone who steals from a thief has a sort of moral amnesty or is less culpable. The closest English equivalent might be “honor among thieves” or “it’s no crime to steal from a thief”.
I hope this helps clarify the expression for you! 🙂
