Queria saber onde fica esta loja, com coisas de sede, tao baratas!
Can you tell me please, is size M medium? Is this from the English? And what other sizes would there be?
Obrigada
Debbie
Olá, Debbie. Yes, M is Medium. We also use S, M, L, XL, etc, in Portugal, as well as standardized European clothing and shoe size numbers.
Que barganha!!!
Thanks Joseph.
How do you pronounce XL ? I have trouble with X.
Obrigadinha,
Debbie
You’re welcome, Debbie! If you pronounce it very slowly, letter by letter, it sounds like “sheesh-elle”. Pronounced fast enough, we make the X sound more like a Z in the end, to help connect it to the L. It sounds like “shee-zelle”.Here are two Learning Notes that should help you with the pronunciation of the letter X (and other letters!):
– Pronunciation Guide for European Portuguese Consonants
– How to Pronounce the Letter X in Portuguese
That’s really helpful, Joseph!
Thank you,
Debbie
