Muito difícil para mi, mas o texto foi interessante.
Even at 0.5 speed, I couldn’t understand some of the sentences even after repeating 20 times. When I looked at the transcript, I know most of the words, but couldn’t understand them by listening alone. True native speed with all the dropped sounds is extremely difficult to understand for me. I feel we get a false sense of accomplishment when someone like Rui speaks in a clear and slow way.
Olá! It’s completely normal to find Shorties such as this challenging, especially when it includes colloquialisms and the natural dropping of sounds. The goal is to gradually get used to the natural rhythm and flow of the language. It’s similar to learning to understand someone speaking in a noisy environment – it takes time and exposure. I recommend continuing to use the transcripts as a tool to help bridge the gap between what you know and what you can understand by ear. You can always move on to a different Shorty or lesson, and then come back to this one, once you feel more comfortable with the language.
I am having exactly the same difficulty as Douglas . I thought I was making good progress until I started on this Shortie! Well I never thought it was going to be easy.
