European Portuguese in China!

Did you know that there are a lot of students learning European Portuguese in China? At least 50 universities teach Portuguese as a foreign language to over 5000 students! We are very proud and grateful that many of these students and their teachers use Practice Portuguese inside and outside the classroom to improve their European Portuguese skills. Learning Portuguese as an adult is challenging enough, but it’s even more difficult when coming from a language like Chinese which has completely different pronunciation and no roots in Latin. Today we explore some of these unique challenges that Chinese students face when learning the language, in this Q&A video format. Muito obrigado to Iryna for reaching out, organizing, and capturing all of the classroom footage (and city b-roll), as well as for facilitating this inspiring conversation between us and your students!
