I found this link helpful for the difference between conseguir and poder as both are used here:
https://forum.practiceportuguese.com/t/os-verbos-conseguir-e-poder/1285/3
Really enjoyed this one! Current & funny plus lots of useful vocab and expressions. Keep up the good work 🙂
These are brilliant thank you. If it is possible to make the vocabulary ‘live’ ie can hear its pronunciation, that would really helpful. Obrigada.
Thank you, so glad you’re enjoying these! Adding audio to the vocabulary is definitely on our list.
E eu cheio de fome – is “estou” assumed and doesn’t need to be spoken, or is cheio here maybe a 1st person singular verb form?
Since Lara says “estou só cansada”, Martim completes with “E eu cheio de fome”. The verb is assumed to be “estou” that Lara just used. “Cheio” is an adjective. 🙂
Ela só queria dormir.
Thank you!
