I watched your Camino videos, and your Santo Antonio video dozens of times, because they were in real time and the two of you are so personable talking directly to the camera in Portuguese with English sub-titles I learned something new every time I watched. The interspersed clickable Portuguese words with slow speed are really great. Plus, Joel and Rui are such natural presenters! Flat out amazed

I just wanted to say obrigada for the lessons! I…was able to converse, haltingly but effectively, as needed on our recent trip to Lisbon. This is no small feat, given that I’m in my mid-50’s and learning a language as difficult as Portuguese does not come easily. The Portuguese people were so sweet and willing to speak with me in Portuguese (even gently correcting my pronunciation on occassion). They were surprised and appreciative that I attempted it. It definitely added to our trip and my husband was flat out amazed (bonus!).
