I have been trying to learn PT during my 8 (!) years living here with very little success… Recently I started Practice PT. What a wonderful method! Between your various ways to learn, combined with your personal day to day real life discussions via shorties and videos. Now 1. I realize I know more than I thought, and 2. I’m beginning to be able to access it thanks to your teaching drills, practice methods, Smart review, etc.

It’s been an invaluable tool for me. Not only has it helped me gain confidence in my Portuguese speaking and writing, but it also played a big part in something I’m really excited about: I’m going to be teaching Portuguese at my school next year! Although I grew up in a Portuguese household and communicate easily with people in my local community, I hadn’t written in Portuguese in years. To help me prepare for the certification test, I turned to Practice Portuguese, especially to brush up on verb conjugations across all tenses. I also enjoyed listening to the short stories and podcasts-these really helped me expand my vocabulary. By the time I got to the writing section of the test, I felt so much more confident with my word choices and tenses (those preterit and imperfect ones were tricky, but Practice Portuguese made it click!). Long story short, thanks to your platform and a lot of studying, I passed…! Your platform has truly made a huge difference in my journey.
