I realy like the different aproaches – hearing, reading, writing and the smart review halpt me a lot since I am a very lazy learner. I always had fun. The speaking feature where I can listen how the words are pronounced are very very good and very helpful. I like the humor in the shorties and the videos. Things are very well explained, good examples, makes it easy to undersand the basics. You all seem to have fun to work and produce for this website and that the students can feel. Thank you!

I am writing to say how much I love Practice Portuguese. It has been a really important part of my life as we are all struggling through this pandemic. I have Portuguese heritage on my moms side of the family…and being able to reconnect and discover more about the culture of my family has been amazing! I spend at least an hour every day working through the learning studio and I constantly listen to your podcasts while running, biking, driving etc… So thank you for doing all this, and I look forward to more podcasts! It really improves my headspace to be a part of the warm and kind energy you guys have created here!

Honestly, the site and all the tools are fantastic. I’m only sorry I didn’t find you sooner. I was studying for the CIPLE exam, and I had some private lessons leading up to the test (which was today) and my tutor recommended your site to help with my audio comprehension. I watched many of the videos for the past few days, and it was really helpful and impressive. If I had had this resource for the entirety of my learning process, I’d have been in much better shape than I was! Joel and Rui are adorable and charming, and the tools are excellent – all the audio with transcription and translations, the quizzes, the vocab and expressions, with different voices, at different levels, around different subjects… all amazing.

The fact that you have added subtitles to your media library really sold me on becoming a subscribing member. As a passionate learner of languages, with some 35 years of experience under my belt, I’ve used all kinds of language acquisition materials, both on- and offline. You are all quite impressive in the layout and order of the units…Practice Portuguese is the ONLY language program that I have tried that is so easy to follow and thoughtful to appeal to new learners. AND it is NOT Brazilian Portuguese. That in itself is worth it. You need billboards to let people know.
