I really enjoy listening to both of you. I don’t get to practice my Portuguese and your podcast has been very helpful in exposing me to such a beautiful language. The quality of your content is just top notch. I am hooked!

As a beginner I found the structure with the option to turn the translation on or off and the quiz at the end, really useful!

Short episodes yet you learn so much. I love that you have a native Portuguese speaker as well as Joel who is not a native. My family is Portuguese so I speak a decent amount of the language and yet I’m always surprised that I’m learning something new in every episode! 10/10 recommend

The shorties are really great. I listen with and without the transcription which helps enormously with both vocabulary and pronunciation.

I have to congratulate and thank you for the shortie recordings….sometimes interesting, sometimes amusing and always engaging. After 6 years of living here in Portugal and a lot of effort, I still struggle with the Portuguese language and the skill of listening and understanding is the most problematic for me. Your shorties have been invaluable.

When coming to Portugal 4 years ago I already was on a A2-level, learnt with book + CD. Still I was very much in lack of listening practice. In that respect your podcasts, which I had found on Spotify, helped me A LOT. Thanks for your great work and sharing your adventures with us!
